Spice Hill Interiors, based in Greenwich, provides full-service residential interior design throughout Fairfield and Westchester counties, including Greenwich, Rye, Scarsdale, New Canaan, Westport, Briarcliff Manor, and Irvington.

With over 30 years of experience, designer Karen Kline works closely with each client to interpret their tastes and priorities, creating interiors that feel personal, effortless, and true to the home’s architecture.

Services include kitchen and bath design, space planning, custom cabinetry and built-ins, lighting plans, window treatments, and curated furnishings, rugs, artwork, wallpaper, lighting fixtures, and accessories.

Consultations are available for renovations, new construction, relocations, and downsizing.

HISTORY

Founded in 2000 by Greenwich interior designer Karen Kline, Spice Hill Interiors began as a home-based studio in Croton-on-Hudson, offering rugs, designer lighting, and furniture to clients across Westchester, Fairfield, and New York City. In 2008, from our retail location in Ossining, we expanded to offer full-service interior design. While collaborating with architects and builders on new construction and structural renovations, we were honored with Best Interior Designer and Custom Window Treatment Shoppe by the readers of Westchester Magazine.

Based in Greenwich, Connecticut since 2014, we continue to serve clients across Westchester, Fairfield, and beyond, bringing personalized attention and thoughtful design to every project.

MEET KAREN KLINE

With over 30 years of experience in residential interior design, I bring a seasoned approach to each project - shaped by formal training, practical problem-solving, and decades of working directly with clients in their homes. My education in both law and interior design forms the foundation of my analytical and creative balance.

Much of my career has been spent providing design services through home furnishings showrooms, which allowed me to work on a wide variety of homes. These experiences taught me not only how to create spaces that are inviting and functional, but also how to “read” people — to interpret tastes and priorities, especially those unspoken.

I founded Spice Hill Interiors in 2000 to bring high-quality furnishings and concierge-level design services to a broader audience. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with talented architects, builders, and manufacturers who share my attention to detail and commitment to integrity in material and method. My current focus is helping clients adapt their environments to evolving lifestyle shifts.
