REIMAGINING MY OWN SPACE
(A personal design story about changing home environments to suit real life)
After my youngest son moved out, I reclaimed rooms I hadn’t used for over a year.
I started by sorting, cleaning, patching, painting...
And then, I asked myself:
Do I put it all back the way it was, or redesign for who I am now?
I approached the task as I would a client’s project:
I stripped things down.
Removed what wasn’t working.
Measured and planned, carefully considering intended usages, physical and visual flow.
My house (and my life) is not perfect.
Things don’t line up, surfaces are scuffed, and I embrace those imperfections.

A NEW VIEW
In the end, the biggest takeaway isn’t about paint colors or layouts — it’s this:
Home Design & Decor isn’t about perfection. It’s about PERSONALIZATION!
It’s about understanding how space is best allocated, architectural limitations, then reshaping it to honestly encourage and support the present.
That’s the mindset I bring to every project — and this time, to my own home.
If your home environment doesn’t match your current lifestyle or thoughts, let’s talk about how to make the most of your space to fix that.
